Shalimar Vintage Guerlain Eau de Cologne Watch Bottle 6 oz c. 1967 Zebra Box

Here is a well-preserved 6.0 oz approx. 7/8 full large bottle of Shalimar Eau de Cologne. I’m not sure of the exact age but: the black and white Zebra-style box says ©️Guerlain 1967 on its left side; the box has no bar code or batch box on the back but its upper right hand corner on its face says “NO. 306”; it does have a zip code (which means post-1963); the bottom of the bottle simply says “Guerlain Made in France”. It still smells great — like the original EDC.

All of the above — including its metal pointed cap — suggest from my research that it’s from 1973 - 1979. This is when Guerlain imported Shalimar’s essence from France, then blended and placed it in their French-made famous “Watch” aka “Montre” or “Disc” Bottle in New York, as is stated on the label, which is vibrant and intact.

This Shalimar comes from the home of an elegant and much older lady who cared for the things she loved. The box has some flaws so please look carefully at the photos. And please ask any questions
